TF/ULTRA GAS™
Our range of TF/ULTRA GAS™ Performance Gas - MAPP® tools have been designed specifically to meet the performance and reliability standards of the trade professional.
TF/ULTRA GAS™ has a high flame temperature when mixed with air 1982°C / 3600°F, so as a single gas for heating, soldering and brazing is ideal for the trade’s professional.
Also included in this range is the Oxypower Torch Kit which is a portable solution for welding without the use of extensive oxygen/acetylene equipment.

MAPP® gas is a fuel gas based on a stabilized mixture of methylacetylene (propyne) and propadiene.
MAPP® gas was discontinued in the spring of 2008 due to health concerns about the gas.
MAPP® gas substitutes appear in the market place made from Propylene UN number 1077.
Propylene is preferred over Propane because it has faster heat transfer properties.
MAPP® gas substitutes can contain a variety of gases but for the original MAPP® gas* substitute look for the UN number 1077.
